Radiophile 212 are a alternative metal band based in London. Started in 2013, its the brainchild of Irish guitarist/singer and songwriter Phil Brown. He set about recording the E.P "The Demented Leprechaun" in Press Play Studios in January 2013, it took just over 8 days to record, mix and master with the help of producer Andy Ramsey and engineer Robb Dixon of the band When Prophecy Fails. Phil played guitar, bass and sang on all the 5 songs as well as writing all the material. Drums were played by Jake Taylor of the band When Prophecy Fails also. Phil had the ideas for the songs on 8-track demo's that were the blue print for the recordings, also consisting of the drum parts which Phil wrote manually into the 8-track recorded. Jake listened to this as well as coming up with us own ideas for the final mixes. Now after recruiting the savage rhythm section of Bones and Dan Heard on Bass and Drums, Radiophile 212 will finally be getting out into the live venues around the UK.
