Stumble itSlowglass formed in April 2011 (originally under the name ‘Boddicker’), with ex-members of No Hope Astronaut & Victory Red joining forces to create a modern take on Alternative/Grunge sound. In their first year together the band played at venues such as Old Blue Last, Proud Galleries and The Lexington. The latter, in December 2011, was their first under the name Slowglass and was also best gig to date as they played to a packed venue as main support to up and coming Irish band ‘The Minutes’.
Their debut album “Smoke Clouds ” produced by Jeff C is available now on itunes, and all major digital retailers.

These guys in Slowglass ROCK…went to one of their shows, they are really good….check out their debut album, pretty good for a band that isn’t big
I stumbled across these guys when they were playing with The Minutes(who I love) in July last year. I was quite impressed back then, but they didn’t have my full attention as I had my hands somewhat busy, ahem! I caught them a few more times, again supporting The Minutes. They had really started to grow on me, & I went to a few of their own shows, where they had my full attention. I’ve met the guys a few times, & they seem really decent & told me about the album they were close to finishing. I’ve stayed in contact, & I’m now a proud owner of ‘Smoke Clouds’ & i must say they have done a sterling job. If you like the following bands, you will definitely like Slowglass! Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, Far, Texas Is The Reason.
Slowglass what a brilliant live band..their album isn’t too bad either, proper rock man
