MELODRAMAS combine an array of genres, from the vintage feel of Chet Atkins to theatrical spook-rock. Through 2010/11 the four-piece were selected by Tiger Beer to represent ‘the West in the East’. The experience has seen the band break new territories and play huge concerts in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Kuwait and Australia. FarOutlaw is a singer songwriter from Oxford and London. He’s been writing for 20 years and his music has led him to collaborate with a number of musicians and producers including Simon Emmerson (AfroCelt SoundSystem, Imagine Village), John Fortis (Ellie Goulding , Razor Light), Future Sounds Of London and Sam Brown. He also played with London’s electro acid punk rockers, group. farOutlaw has just finished making a record with producer Sam Williams ( Supergrass, Plan B, The Noisettes , Kula Shaker).
