Jimmy Moore and The Good Times

25 year-old Jimmy Moore’s growing reputation as a talented singer and guitarist is well-earned. A hard-working entertainer, he has been steadily carving out a niche as a solo act, performing his own songs on the live circuit.
With the pleasure of playing with so many great musicians at some great events and venues the past year!

With the release of his debut album ‘The Good Times’ he is set to become a major artist.
Gigging constantly over the last year, Jimmy encountered many great musicians. With some there was a special chemistry, so he invited them to play on his debut album. This happens often – everyone intends to contribute but they’re also busy gigging and it rarely comes to anything. But this time it worked. The guest musicians turned up. More than twenty of them!

For several weeks, a stream of extraordinary talent passed through the doors of Wiltshire Studios, each musician adding their own unique contribution to Jimmy’s material. From guitar, bass and drums to cello, trumpet and tablas, Jimmy Moore’s Friends brought a special magic to what were already mature and compelling songs, beautifully sung.

The result is a sensational and highly original album. Producer Martin Smith has perfectly captured the spontaneity and freshness of those special performances; there are great tunes, catchy hooks and compulsive grooves. Have a listen! Some tracks can be heard here:

Jimmy Moore’s engaging personality is ideally suited to live radio.
A recent spot for a local station was planned to last ten minutes, but eventually ran to two hours!
