“Z-STAR is a force of nature!” - JIMMY PAGE To be at a Z-STAR concert is a truly liberating experience; dangerous, seductive, edgy, profound and impressively unpredictable - unfolding like a most decadent road trip through a SoulFunk VoodooRock magic-infused landscape. The Z-STAR sound is created and led by singer-songwriter, musician and producer, Zee Gachette, and her multi- cultural band; Brazilian Diogenes Baptisttella (Lead Guitar), Italian Vezio Bacci (Bass) and Danish Nikolaj Bjerre (Drums). Zee Gachette is a musicians’ artist admired by many musical heavyweights including Nigel Kennedy and Quincy Jones. Awarded BEST LIVE ACT at the Brighton Music Awards, Z-STAR delivered a performance which brought the audience, including Jimmy Page (Led Zepplin) and Roger Daltrey (The Who), to their feet. Zee “dominates the stage like the lead of a West End musical, a ring-leader...the band follow her every move like an orchestra to its conductor” (Spannered). She has a myth-like reputation that quietly spans the globe. She has performed on global stages to audiences of up to 250,000, including the Royal Albert Hall, Radio City Hall, Ronnie Scotts, MTV Live, Arezzowave, Roskilde, Villa Ada, Glastonbury, WOMAD, Bestival, Polish Woodstock and had inspiring collaborations (writing/recording/performing) with; Nigel Kennedy, Keziah Jones, Spleen, Shlomo, Max Sedgely, George Benson, Meshell Ndegecello, Richie Havens, Sinead O’Connor, Gabin, Mathew Herbert, Natascha Atlas, Beverly Knight, Isabellia Rossellini, Sunlight Square etc. “Like a fine malt whisky this girl just gets better and better” BLUES AND SOUL As a recording artist Zee has produced 5 albums: 3 Z-STAR, 2 SLOWTRAINSOUL - released by VirginEMI, Sony, Wagram, Universal, Playground, Quango and Tommy Boy. Totally independent, and working with her business partner, Lucy Anderson - putting out a new EP Autumn 2012. “Definitely one to watch!” - BBC RADIO 2 “Charismatic, genuine creativity!” - THE TIMES "A top-billing for the Royal Albert Hall might be more appropriate” - SPANNERED “A phenomenon to keep an eye on” - LA NAZIONE “A star is born...the comparisons are wasted” - IL MANIFESTO “Zee has a voice that goes straight to the stomach” - MARIE CLAIRE We would love to be part of Exposure Music, as you know it's an ongoing battle to get onto the industry radar here in the UK, irrespective of talent and hardwork!

Originally, Charlie Says were formed by James, David and Jamie. Regularly playing with bands such as The Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses, Adequate Seven and winning numerous competitions, Charlie Says were relatively successful as young teenagers. In 2006 the band decided to separate and subsequently didn’t play together for just over six years. Coming together in January of 2012, Charlie Says are new on the music scene again. Adding Sarah James as the lead singer ( who also has enjoyed a successful past in the underground pop, punk and rock community) has drastically enhanced Charlie Says with her powerful and deep vocals. Differing from their past musical style, Charlie Says's sound is alternative, rock, and punk whilst retaining their uniquely tight, melodic and indie sound. With a solid year of songwriting/gigging under their belt, Charlie Says are now looking to expand their fan base and catch the attention of anyone who loves honest and original new rock music. Their main goal is to write and perform music that is true to themselves and can resonate and be enjoyed by as many people as possible!
