We have adapted our Format to cover the whole of the UK and now also Europe with Exposure Music Belgium: www.exposuremusicawards.be
Bit of a strange one you might think but Belgium fits our ethos perfectly as a race of slightly strange but lovable folks who dont require the permission of any Cool media to like what they like and go looking for it
Meanwhile back here in Blighty we have transformed the awards into a completely National event with registrations via either www.ExposureMusicAwards.org or www.ExposureMusicAwards-East.co.uk if you are based there, with Grand Final & Awards Presentation at your favourite Premier London Venue, to be announced on this site soon, Artists watch out for emails on this for your chance to Play one of the best live Venues in London
And whats more its Absolutely Free Amigos to have your Music judged by our panel of Music Industry Experts
This year The Best Live category will be an additional event with live Showcases & Auditions
Small admin fee for that bit applies as tiz an expensive old business
Prizes galore will be thrown into the mix as we go along

EMA
Having scooped not one, not two but FOUR EMA’s last month in the East of England, rising star METIS (pronounced may-teess) has caught the eyes ‘n’ ears of East sponsors KISS 105-108 – and a distribution deal with UNIVERSAL for the New Year.
After winning Awards for Best Urban song (sponsored by KISS 105-108), Best Alt song, Best Live! (voted by fans at tourdates.co.uk) and Best Male, Glen White of KISS 105-108 has picked up Metis’ winning entry in the Urban Award category, Hustlin’ ft. Demarco, for the region’s leading commercial radio station.
Last week, Metis filmed an exclusive interview with KISS 105-108 breakfast’s Kaz, Stu and Thomsta at the KISS studios. The film will be aired on Totalkiss.com and KISS YouTube when the track gets its first spin on KISS 105-108 January 8th, to tie in with the single’s official release on Jan 12th!
Featuring both prize winning tracks Hustlin’ and All In, ft. Aynzli Jones, Metis’ debut release will be digitally distributed worldwide via Universal, available on iTunes and all major music download sites.
EMA East organiser Chris Stiven has worked closely with Metis and KISS 105-108 to make it happen. “This is what the EMA’s are all about”, she says “Huge thanks to KISS – and especially to Glen [White] for such stunning support in our first year. It’s very cool to see this kind of well deserved result from our first Awards programme in the East – and there’s still plenty more good news to come for our 2009 winners and nominees, before the 2010 Awards go live next March.”
