Awards Seek Regional Charity Partners
A new music awards, started by music industry insiders and based in Cheltenham, have today announced that they will be giving a healthy slice of their first year proceeds over to International Anti Cancer Charity The Love Hope Strength Foundation (www.lovehopestrength.com), to help in their inspirational Global fight.
Covering the whole of South Central Britain, the Exposure Music Awards! are now also looking for another worthy organisation, in their area of operation, to build an ongoing partnership for both fund raising, awareness and direct practical help.
Dean G Hill of Tourdates.Co.UK, Martin Brown of The Orange County Music Awards and Mr. Joe Wilson, of the internationally successful British Indie Rogues The Sneaker Pimps, have forged an alliance of musical expertise in this unique and giving venture.
“We have a burning desire to find the Very Best Acts In Heartland Britain”, says Dean “… and while we’re about it we can use this thing to do some good, both out there in the great wide world and in the Communities, in which these talented artists live and about which they write.” Martin’s many years of experience of running his Acclaimed Music Awards added to the fact that Joe now runs the Popular Music Degree over at the University of Gloucestershire Pittville Campus, should help achieve these aims. The whole of the music community seem to be up for this exciting new event, taking place on Sat 31st May at Park Campus Cheltenham and many community organisations such as the Gloucestershire Media Group, co-ordinated by Emma Heathcote-James are lending their support. The word is starting to spread…
To Enter Artists have to submit their best song via the website: www.ExposureMusicAwards.org and the judges, all industry professionals, will individually score each and every song submitted. The top five scores in each will become the nominees in that category. The awards show will hand out the accolades in over 15 categories, and there will be performances from some of the best live bands and solo acts from across the region. So from Swansea to St Albans and Stoke-on-Trent to Southampton, if you love music or play music, dive into the Exposure Music Awards!
