After another stunning showcase on 9th Apr 2009 at Bar Music Hall in Shoreditch which finished with a stage invasion for Mordachi’s last ever gig, and their lead singer being chased around the venue dressed as a Demented Easter Bunny, we are proud to announce that the Mayhem will continue with Showcases on the second Thursday of each month and then the same Lineup on the last Saturday of each month at the Grove South London, throughout the whole year until November ...

It’s always great to have some Local Media Support and Star FM Gloucestershire are Fresh and Relaunched with enthusiastic and Music Loving DJs, and they’ll be helping us get the word out on the Awards.
Check out AJ & Joe on The Breakfast Show, too early for the likes of us but we hear great things about their FM/am Radio Mayhem, listen for their Trailer telling local bands how they can still Register for EMA.
DJ Mike Read of Radio One Fame is now also part of their lineup with a show syndicated across the World (Nod Arf); had the pleasure of meeting this radio Legend recently and he’ still go the magic.
Although the Exposure Music Awards! focuses on the oft overlooked Talent in Heartland of Britain, we recognise that most of the ‘Movers & Shakers’ in Music are still based down in London.
So if Mohamed might not come to the Mountain we bring our own steaming Heap of Sonic Noise Joy, by choosing the best of the 2009 Awards Registrants and offering them Showcases at our main Partner venues.
From our Reputation built on shows as the Borderline and The Marquee Club promoter Raven Black Music now have a new set of venues both North & South of our mother Thames, where we stage regular events, see email alerts.
Exposure Music Awards! are Delighted to Announce that National Star College near Cheltenham is now our Main Event Beneficiary.
They do Great work helping young adults facing Debilitating Life Challenges, working with them on their Strengths and helping them to achieve an improved Quality of Life, as well as Academic qualifications.
We would Urge you to support The Star Appeal and Give what you can; we’ll be raising Awareness and Funds for them at our Music Awards Ceremony in April. Art students from the College will also be running a Project to Design the awards to be handed out to This Year's Winners.
Ladies & Gentlemen - Boys & Girls - Merry Festive Season. What can we say, it’s been a fantastic year in 2008.
After launching Exposure Music Awards! inaugural event in May, with a bunch of inspired and committed helpers and almost no marketing budget, we were chuffed with the results.
The compilation of our Winners / Nominees / Escapees, called very aptly: Chaos & Glory is now out in the wild and available for fans to buy, and special promo copies will be winging their way to our Key Industry Contacts first thing in 2009.
Accompanying that will be Chaos & Glory the DVD, taken at the Awards ceremony itself, which is in final edit right now, and will definitely be worth the wait.
Looking forward to an Improved & Enlarged awards for next Spring and even launching a second Region.
But until then we still have ‘Best out of Area’ and ‘Best International Category’ next year too.
We have a bigger budget and a better website and Raven Black Music are looking to offer more acts their unique ‘Artist Development Contract’ to the best winners in 2009.
In the mean time we hope Santa will be good to you and remember if you are in a great band or know someone who is then: Registration is where you need to be mate.
Happy Rockin’ Christmas

MTV would very much like us to make it clear to you that even though our name is Exposure Music Awards! we probably shouldn’t abbreviate said name to its, well its abbreviation, EMA, on account of the fact they happen to have some awards with the same initials.
We’re not entirely sure that we want to make this clear to you, as it doesn’t quite make sense to us really. What we are sure of is that we like MTV (no really folks we do) as it has been religiously pumping out tunes and innovating music on the box since year dot, MTV2 rox.
As well as this it’s fair to say that we love music and everything we ever do here at Raven Black Music & Exposure Music Awards! is designed to find talent, promote talent, exploit talent, n we mean that in an Artist making a living kind of a way, so get real and get on side:
Hear us warble on about what we’re trying to achieve here on delicious local radio.
See us cavort in slightly unsensible ways with the artists at this year’s awards.
And watch this space as we turn this baby into a talent machine …
